Here we outline the process of applying a ceramic coating so you can have a clear understanding of what to expect.

The application process typically takes several hours, and it's important to choose a professional and experienced installer to ensure the best results. The first step is to thoroughly clean and prepare the surface of your vehicle. This includes washing, claying, and polishing the paint to remove any impurities or contaminants.

Next, the ceramic coating is applied using a specialized applicator, such as a microfiber towel, in thin and even layers. The number of layers applied will vary depending on the product and the desired level of protection. It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure the best results.

After the ceramic coating has been applied, it must be allowed to cure for a specified period of time. During this time, the ceramic coating will bond to the surface of the vehicle and form a protective barrier.

Before The Coating

• Exterior Hand Wash with PH Neutral Foam

  We use a PH neutral foam to clean the road grime and dirt away without causing damage to your glossy coating. Cheaper cleaners contain harsh chemicals that will remove the protective wax or ceramic and potentially damage the clear coat over time. We use de-ionized water with our foam.

• Plush Micro-Fiber Towels Used for Hand Washing

  We use professional grade soft 650 GSM quality micro-fiber towels when hand washing. You may have heard of the two bucket method to avoid cross contamination. We take it a step further and use one towel per panel. These towels have no stitching on the side and are incredibly soft to prevent micro scratching and micro marring on the clear coat.

• Rinse with De-Ionized Water

  Water spots are created by water with minerals in it such as calcium and magnesium. Once the water evaporates the minerals are left on the clear coat and glass. This can permanently etch and damage the glass or clear coat requiring paint correction. De-Ionized water physically cannot spot as these minerals are filtered out.

• Decontamination with Iron-X

  Industrial fallout, iron and carbon in the air lands on your vehicle. If left untreated this will be embedded in the surface and can cause damage to your clear coat, plastic and rubber. If clear coat failure occurs this creates irreversible damage then requiring a new clear coat. Iron-X creates a chemical reaction to open the pores of the surface and release these contaminates.

• Paint Clay Bar Treatment

  We use a clay bar to remove contaminates from your vehicle that could not be removed with a detailed hand wash. Clay barring is slightly abrasive, while it removes those contaminates and creates a smoother surface, in most cases this will mar the clear coat. We highly suggest you have the clear coat polished after this step to remove the marring and keep that perfect finish.

• Paint Correction (Extra Cost)

  As we paint correct your vehicle we make sure to tape off all plastic trim pieces as this can dry out the plastic if not done. Paint correction helps eliminate micro scratching, minor imperfections and swirls. It will give the clear coat a mirror like finish and higher gloss. Once done the paint and clear coat is ready for ceramic coating.
